The Trade Development Support Program (TDSP) was a Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) contributed by the European Union, DANIDA and UNIDO and executed by the Department of International Cooperation (DICO), Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and other relevant institutes since March 2009 until August 2016.
The program aims to increase the Royal Government’s efficiency in formulating and implementing effective trade policies as well as promote the Trade Sector Wide Approach (Trade SWAp). For the six years of its implementation, TDSP significantly contributed to the faster-export growth and improved good governance to enable private sector development, which was a good response to three pillars of the Trade SWAp’s roadmap and Rectangular Strategy – Phase III of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC).
The video will briefly elaborate success stories of the TDSP, which was jointly implemented by the RGC and development partners in order to deeply integrate Cambodia’s trade sector into regional and global production network.
