Mini-marts become big business in capital

CP ALL (Cambodia), main franchisee of 7Eleven stores in Cambodia, inaugurated its first store in the Chroy Changvar district of Phnom Penh.
The opening ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Minister (Trade) at the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh Jirawuth SuwannaArj.
The company said it previously planned to open its first store at the PTT petrol station, located along Highway 5 in Prek Pnov district, north of Phnom Penh.

The main commercial rights in Cambodia have been awarded to CP All of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (BKK: CPALL). This is the retail branch of Charoen Pokphand Group Co Ltd. of Thailand. All Joint Stock Company (Cambodia) and All Joint Stock Company (Laos) have both been granted franchise rights for 30 years to establish and operate 7Eleven branches.
The shops there are one-stop destination for drinks, snacks, ready-to-eat foods, cosmetics, home appliances, financial services like bank and bill payments, digital technology and delivery, which the company plans to reproduce for Cambodian customers.
In Cambodia, 7Eleven stores will compete with existing convenience stores such as Smile Mini Marts and American franchises Circle K, Kiwimart, Aeon MaxValu Express and Lucky Express.
The company said more stores will be opened in Phnom Penh.

The Moon Store is a local store run by youth Chamroeun SEREYBOTH since 17-Apr-2020. This mini mart provide products with good quality and services located in Borey Piphub Thmei Kuo Srov 3 and Boeung Salang, Tuol Kork.
